Introducing Eggs Box Troll Kid
I absolutely adored this film, and I had previously created an Eggs character some time ago.
I decided to craft another one, utilizing almost 90% upcycled materials in the process.
The original film tells the story of a little boy raised by trolls who gather trash and live underground. It's a wonderfully imaginative film, and its concept resonates with me as I also enjoy collecting and upcycling.
Eggs gets his name from his Egg Box.
Like all my dolls, this particular creation is a unique, custom, one-of-a-kind art doll collectible.
I do not use molds when creating his distinctive character.
His face is sculpted from polymer clay, hand-painted, and sealed. His hair is crafted from upcycled cotton, placed individually to give him a charmingly messy look.
Standing at approximately 50 cm tall, Eggs is designed using upcycled fabrics and haberdashery. His clothing is hand-stitched and painted to give the appearance that he has outgrown them. He features ceramic hands with fingers, and his body is constructed from a wire armature, padded to enhance his boyish charm.
I have included details such as his missing tooth and oversized brown eyes. He is an amazing Art Doll, one of a kind and never to be replicated.
